Over the last few years the Blackberry make of mobile phone/ internet and communication device has seeped in to the forefront of modern culture. With the first Blackberry phones being used by business people a couple of years ago, a very large number of regular phone users rely on their Blackberry to keep them in touch with friends, family and acquaintances every single day. Staying true to its roots, the Blackberry is now the most popular and well used phone amongst those who are using phones for business purposes. One of the main things that the makers of the Blackberry Curve 8530 boast of is the fast connection speed, and easy media sharing. This means that file sharing, swapping music and sending out photographs will be easier and faster than ever before, for the user of this particular Smartphone. To add to this ease of communication and speed, the Blackberry Curve 8530 also comes with GPS, which can be enabled very quickly. Whether it’s traveling to a friend’s house, going to school, work or even on holiday, how many of us can hold our hand up claiming we don’t need some gadget that makes our lives easier and more entertaining?

The first gadget most of us simply cannot leave home without is our mobile phone. Now, this doesn’t mean we are completely dependent on this gadget but if you’re going to leave the house for a while, especially if you have a spouse and kids, you’ll want to have your mobile phone in case of an emergency. Protect Your Laptop With a Laptop Backpack

Laptop backpacks are an excellent way to not only transport your laptop with ease but also to protect it during transit. They are ideal for both students and busy professionals alike. They aren’t your typical baggy backpacks either, rather they are tight fitting to keep your laptop from moving around. Laptop backpacks have extra slots and pockets to store accessories like your mouse, your battery, pens, paperwork and other items you might need when you are on the road. They come with adjustable shoulder straps like you might expect and because laptops can sometimes weigh quite a bit, the shoulder straps are heavily padded to provide comfort.

Laptop backpacks are specially designed for your computer. You shouldn’t try to carry your laptop in a regular backpack as you won’t have sufficient padding and protection. There are a number of styles, colours, and materials so you should have no problem finding a laptop backpack that fits your personality.

Make sure you buy a reputable brand and do a little research to see what types of reviews people are leaving about a particular backpack you have in mind. This is a great way to ensure you pick not only the right style, but one that will be durable and long lasting. They are perfect for people who travel whether that be on a bicycle to school, on a train to work, on a plane when on holiday and so on. Give your shoulders and back a break by purchasing a well built, ergonomic laptop backpack and enjoy access to your computer no matter where you go.

A Review of the Playstation 3 Slimline

Whether you like to play video games casually or consider yourself a skilled gamer, there lots of video game consoles to consider. Playstation 3 is one of the most popular machines in the world and with the new Playstation 3 Slim, you’ll have a lot more to cheer about besides its slimmer profile. What’s cool about the Playstation 3 Slimline is that it not only is a great gaming console but it can play bluray DVDs as well so it’s an all-round great entertainment console.

One of the main differences between the new Slim model and the older Playstation 3 is the Slimline has a 250 GB hard drive as opposed to 120 GB with the older version. By having more disc space, you can store more games as well as download Sony products.

Now, does this new console actually improve the gaming experience compared to its predecessor? The answer is arguable. However, people love to buy new things and Sony has already sold millions of units. Of course the Playstation 3 Slimline console offers more than just a bigger hard drive. Its bluray player is considered one of the best on the market and the whole family can join in and watch high definition films on the console.

So, if you’re thinking of getting a Playstation 3 Slim console, just ask the family first if they wouldn’t mind having a fantastic entertainment console and I’m sure you’ll receive resounding support.

Does Your Computer Need a Tune Up

You can get some great computers these days with lots of RAM and memory. However, if your computer is a few years old and you have been using it on a daily basis over this time, you will eventually notice that it doesn’t run as fast as it used to. The most common culprit for this lack of speed has to do with having too many junk files within Windows. If you consider all the downloads you’ve done over the life of your computer, or old files you no longer use or need, clutter can build up and cause Windows to run slower than its potential.

If your operating system has to read loads of files just to run, and these junk files serve no purpose, then your computer is basically struggling to execute simple, everyday tasks. Windows uses system files to help run your computer but over time, these files can become corrupt thus causing a lag as Windows is trying to read bad files.

One of the best ways to remedy this situation is to use what’s called a registry cleaner. A registry cleaner will examine the registry files that run in the background to make sure your operating system works. You should also consider getting a defragmenting program to help sort the unused, dead files and free up some memory as well as system files so your computer runs more efficiently. There are free registry and defragmenting programs however, some aren’t as good as the paid products so you should compare both and then put these programs to work for your computer. You’ll be glad you did.

Guide to Buying a Laptop

If you’re used to a desktop yet find yourself more in need of your computer either whilst away on holiday or traveling to and from work, a laptop would be the best solution. Many people prefer to use a laptop over a desktop computer full stop because they are compact and take up hardly any space. But, there are some considerations to make before you splash out several hundred pounds for a new laptop.

The first thing you’ll want to think about is whether or not the laptop is a necessity, such as required or work or school. If it’s more of a luxury than a necessity, you may want to go for a laptop in the price range of around £300-£400. You can get a cracking laptop for that price actually but it may only have a 15.4 inch monitor so if you’re used to the desktop at home with a large 22 inch monitor, this could take some adjustments.

If you need it for work or school and you plan to run mutiple applications, especially if you plan to do graphics or web design, then you’ll probably want to go for a larger laptop, maybe with a 17 inch screen, and has perhaps a Quad Core processor and good graphics card. You can still find a good deal under £400 but you don’t want to sacrifice speed and memory if you plan to use your laptop heavily.

Once you’ve determined the use and budget for your laptop, search online for discounts, coupon codes and more. A little research goes a long way.

Great Playstation 3 Games To Play

Playstation 3 is one of the most popular gaming consoles on the market today. There are others that are quite good as well like the Xbox 360 but Playstation 3, especially the new slimline console is fantastic. There are a ton of games you can play and this article will highlight some of our favourites. Plus, you can play blue ray dvds on the PS3 which is an added bonus. Also, the Sony PS3 isn’t just for kids, as there are plenty of adults who have a great time playing so check out the games below to see which are our top picks.

Call of Duty is excellent for your war game fans. The visuals are incredible and you must use smart tactical manoeuvres which makes it that much more fun. Fallout 3 also throws you in the midst of fighting scenes were you are up against mutant creatures as a result of nuclear devastation. If you’re into horror games that involve fighting and shooting alien creatures then Dead Space is the game of choice.

However, one of my personal favourites has to be Grand Theft Auto IV. It has a great story and involves Nico who arrives in the US as an immigrant and because of his violent past he runs into unsavoury characters who hire him to "take care of business". The game involves lots of car chases, shootouts, going on dates, it’s both hilarious and exciting. You have to check out the comedy club as they have comedians who are actually funny!
